IFRU have participated in BBC Scotland Landward Programme to make two films.
One in China on the initiation and success of straw treatment with urea and one from Vietnam contrasting labour efficiency and resource efficiency. Scotland is here representing labour efficiency but with a huge contribution of fossil fuel and Vietnam resource efficiency with very little input of fossil fuel in agriculture.
