1. All information concerning the nature, properties and distribution of soils, Land Capability or other data presented in Macaulay Land Use Research Institute reports, on its maps or contained in digital files supplied by The Macaulay Land Use Research Institute is copyright and may not therefore be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system or transmitted in any form, by any means, whether electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise, without the explicit written permission of The Macaulay Land Use Research Institute and due acknowledgement of its source. A Publishing Licence may also be required.
2. Use of The Macaulay Land Use Research Institute data is the subject of a specific leasing agreement specifying its purpose of use, the time period of the lease and an undertaking that the data will not be used for any other purpose.
3. All costs quoted are for the lease of datasets in Year 1. In subsequent years the charge is 70% of the Year 1 charge, with a minimum annual data leasing charge of £50. There is a one-off delivery fee of £350.00 to be added to data costs in Year 1.
4. All prices are exclusive of VAT and subject to contract. Prices quoted are for single user leases. Costs for multi user leases are as follows:
- 2 - 5 Users + 50% of single user charge
- 5 - 10 Users + 100% of single user charge
- > 10 Users at least + 200% of single user charge depending on the number of users
5. The Macaulay Land Use Research Institute reserves the right to vary prices at any time.
