Geoforensics and Information Management for crime Investigation (GIMI)
The primary aim of the network is to review and evaluate both existing and new technologies in the following fields:
- analytical fingerprinting of soils and vegetation
- non-invasive measurement
- data and image analysis
- knowledge-based data mining
- spatial database interrogation
Plenary meetings of the network will be held at 6-monthly intervals throughout the 3-year period to set priorities for the four sub-groups and to review progress.
