HOST class 18
- Geology:
- water-modified glacial tills.
- Landforms:
- undulating lowlands typified by Strathmore and, occasionally, foothills adjoining the Midland Valley.
- Soils:
- mineral non-calcareous gley soils with wetness class II to III.
- Vegetation:
- arable and permanent pastures.
- Flow:
- predominantly unsaturated vertical flow but, when waterlogged, the dominant flow regime will be largely saturated lateral flow.
