The research into Changing Landscapes is of relevance to people with different backgrounds, responsibilities and interests.
We run a programme of events to enable discussions with different types of audiences ranging from scientists, the Scottish Government and its agencies, elected representatives, public bodies, to land managers and members of the public.
Events include those of of international importance, such as the OECD and SEERAD conference on Investment Priorities in Rural Areas (Edinburgh, October 2006), to consultations on drivers of landscape change in the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park (Gartocharn and Killin, June 2007), and raising public awareness of issues relating to windfarms (Aberdeen, September 2007).
Future events include technical and policy workshops, and commercial and public exhibitions, and running scientific conferences.
We also provide downloadable Information Sheets and Presentations which summarise our research context, themes, aims, activities and outputs.
Please contact us if you wish information on any upcoming events.
