Introduction
The Ecology group consists of approximately 45 staff and 10 postgraduate students with expertise spanning a wide range of ecological disciplines, including population and community ecology, spatial and landscape ecology, animal health and welfare, taxonomic specializations in many areas of flora and fauna, modelling, data manipulation, GIS and statistical analyses. The range of skills reflects the complexity and cross cutting nature of modern ecology, enabling the group to tackle a broad range of ecology-related research and consultancy projects.
