Stakeholder evaluation of landscape changes:
Q-methodology technique
Project Contact
Project Summary
Identification of public perceptions and priorities of land use changes, along with stakeholder evaluation of landscapes and their components are becoming important tasks of rural policy analysis. For investigation of social choice to support decision-making towards sustainability, participatory methods involving end-users in the consultation process, in combination with a Q methodology technique explaining their attitudes and preferences have been extensively applied in this project both in Scotland and beyond.
This project forms a part of the “Stakeholder Evaluation” module of the WP 3.8, and is a component of the module on Governance and Participation.
