Development Theatre

A development and demonstration virtual reality theatre has been constructed to compliment the mobile Virtual Landscape Theatre. The dimensions and capabilities of the development theatre are the same as the VLT enabling the preparation and testing of models in a controlled environment.

The theatre has now been used for demonstrations to the Romanian Ambassador to the United Kingdom, workshops on windfarms with Scottish Natural Heritage and Highland Council, visits by student groups at the University of Aberdeen, and research into public preferences relating to offshore windfarms and landscape change.
